The tough, breathable fabric on the Lola Short has enough stretch to handle hours in the saddle. This short is purpose built for mountain bikers—a low-profile waist stays put, taffeta-lined knees make for easy pedaling, and a long inseam offers full coverage. But you can also sport the Lola under a climbing harness or over a swimsuit. It’ll accommodate three-sport days no problem. Stash a snack in the hip pocket and you can still access it with a backpack on, and your phone fits perfectly in the lower thigh pocket that everyone loves but not all shorts have.

The Lola Short Features
MTB IQ
All of our fabrics are designed to withstand the rigors of the mountains and the abuse you put your gear through when you’re riding mountain bikes. But the moisture-wicking MTB IQ is particularly tough. Sticks and stones don’t stand a chance here. A breathability factor and 40+ UPF keeps you cool on hot days, and the eco-friendly PFC-free DWR treatment makes it quick drying, too.
PFC-Free
PFCs, or perfluorocarbons, are found in chemicals often used in Durable Water Repellent (or DWR), and once released into the environment, those chemicals are no good. Instead of harmful PFCs, we’re using a friendlier, bio-based treatment that will still keep your fabric dry in a storm but is kinder to you and our planet.
Like sunscreen, not all garments are created equal when it comes to sun protection. Some fabrics still let the sun in and don’t completely block those harmful rays. This product is equipped with a maximum 50+ UPF technology to protect your skin from the sun’s powerful rays. That means this garment will keep out over 98 percent of those UVAs and UVBs. You can now soak up the sun on the trail or water and come home with summer memories instead of a sunburn.
